John Czaplicki

John is a web and mobile developer who’s passionate about visualizing data and writing beautiful code. He loves a difficult challenge, whether it’s plunging into uncharted territory in technology or helping a client develop a robust online presence. His current fascination is “machine learning” — developing applications that can, with or without supervision, study unstructured data sets and recognize useable patterns.

John’s career path began around the age of eleven, when he began coding HTML pages. A year later, he and his friends developed a “mods” forum and resource site for Xanga (a blogging platform) — and later sold the site, once they surpassed 250,000 members.

Aside from a daily diet of PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and MySQL, John also enjoys his oolong tea, home-made mystery juices, and all the fish in the sea.
